With a robust catalog of approximately 1,200 monuments, memorials, plaques, historical markers, and wayside markers sourced from the Historical Marker Database (HMdb.org), Pocket Gettysburg delivers a wealth of information. Each entry features:

• Geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude);
• A description of the monument’s physical location, including the nearest road;
• An interactive map indicating the monument's position;
• Multiple photographs from varying angles;
• The full text inscriptions present on each face of the monument;
• A web link for further research and related resources;
• Construction and dedication information when available.

The app enhances user experience with several powerful features:

• Users can pan and zoom to focus on specific areas of interest;
• GPS-enabled devices allow users to view their location in relation to nearby monuments;
• The list of monuments can be sorted alphabetically or by proximity;
• Each monument listing includes a thumbnail image;
